The Girl From Back Then as performed by The Kings of Convenience.

Here's the way I play The Girl From Back Then from the KOC's album "Quiet is
the New Loud".
ONLY 8 Chords for the VERSE AND CHORUS... one of these super linear song
structure examples that seems to be all the rage these days.
Rhythmic plucking. You'll see that the thumbed bass notes provide that
jazzy little walking line centered around the G# minor scale.
Rhythm changes subtly, especially on the last two chords. Tool with it and
have FUN!
E-----------------|----6-------6----|-----------------|-----2-----------||
B---4-------0-----|----6-------6----|-----4------4----|-----2-------2---||
G---4-------3-----|----6-------6----|-----4------4----|-----0-------3---||
D---4-------4-----|---------4-------|-----4------4----|--1----------2---||
A--------2--------|--6--------------|---------2-------|----------4------||
E-4---------------|-----------------|--0--------------|----------2------||
And I sat down... Said I don't want to...
Best,
Rob ;)
Recommendation: Tired of tabs, want to learn to play the
guitar for real? This guitar course will
make you so good you don't need tabs at all.
